The May 21 We The People Freedom Rally was a rousing success for DontTreadOnIndiana.org! If you missed it, the original homepage promo leading up to the event is now available in our Archive Blog.
This rally was truly a collaborative undertaking as our friends from We The People Of Indiana and Indiana First Action put their shoulders to the wheel to help with presentations and promotions.
DTOI would like to thank the many people who worked behind the scenes to make our second Freedom Rally happen. Special thanks to our great speakers: Bob Croddy, Dan Heiwig, Danny Neiderberger, and Marie and Buckeye from Indiana First Action. And a huge thumbs-up to our musical entertainment: Steve Hickman, Fishers Of Men, and vocalist Grace Kingma.
The longer list of presenters meant we had to keep to a tighter schedule than our November rally, but it all flowed very nicely, and the DTOI group is pleased to have been able to inspire and motivate a large number of people who attended the rally.
We thank the Shriners of Franklin for handling the catering (great tenderloins!); Buck Valley Septic of Columbus for providing sanitation facilities; and last but not least the Brown County Sheriff Department for traffic & security services.
And our sincere thanks to every soul who came to the rally to participate in the day! We hope to see you all (and many more) at our October rally (date to be announced)!
And on a personal note, I should add that I was a proud pappy as my grandson and right-hand man for the day, Dametrius Carson, who has attended both rallies, came up with the idea of grabbing a sign and capturing the attention of drivers on Highway 46. Later he grabbed a donation bucket and strolled the crowd, and I suspect increased our donations by 100%, at least. Michi is a true young patriot! Thanks, bub. 🙂
